ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Tatsu Ramen commissioned SEARCH+RESQ to design a new product to enhance the brand identity for their new restaurant in New York. The conception for the new Point Of Sale (POS) wood cases transpired while overseeing the installation of the feature wall in the restaurant. ( see project here ) Keeping in harmony with the natural wood elements used throughout the space, we agreed to display the POS cases in wood as well. The front surfaces of the cases are laser etched with the imagery of the 3 Samurai’s, which are depicted in the mural illustration of the feature wall. We created a dozen POS cases made from Baltic Birch Plywood which are installed in their New York and Los Angeles restaurants.
