ABOUT THIS PROJECT

We take pride in our accomplishments and are always collaborating with design studios in pushing the boundaries to exploring new processes and applications on materials. The architects at Make Architecture approached us about a concept to laser etch the wall panels in a new wine bar they were designing in Hollywood CA. They were interested in doing an abstract dot pattern graphic image on the main wall of the bar to enhance the modern design of the interior. This project came with a time-sensitive delivery date of one month. In order to meet the opening date for the wine bar, we immediately produced a series of laser etched prototype samples on the Formica laminate panels. Once we received the approval from the client, we started fabrication. The overall dimensions of the wall measure 10 feet tall by 40 feet wide, which included a total of 45 panels 24 x 36 inches.
