HYEBRID COLLECTION

The HYEBRID COLLECTION is an arrangement of powder coated aluminum furniture pieces consisting of a dining table, nesting benches and lightweight stools.

Minimalistic in form and utilitarian for everyday use, the modular design is ideal for live + work environments and outdoor spaces. The HYEBRID furniture pieces function as a collective, yet stand-alone as individual sculptural forms or “objects in space”.

The design intention for the HYEBRID COLLECTION originated from the concept of utilizing a single sheet of aluminum to create a series of furniture pieces and maximize the use of material. Using modern manufacturing techniques and integrating state of the art digital fabrication, the sheet of aluminum is laser cut, then formed by a robust hydraulic press that shapes the material to create a 3-dimensional seamless object. Each piece is then hand finished with a powder-coating or custom chrome plating.

We take pride and recognize the impact manufacturing has on our environment and we do all that is possible to reduce waste & energy consumption. As a result, we fulfill orders and schedule manufacturing by a monthly “gang-run” production. All of our products are made to order and manufactured in Los Angeles by a network of independent craftsmen and a team of skilled fabricators.

STOOLS

The S+R STOOL is comprised of four identical leaflets made of 1/8” thick aluminum and fastened inside at the top and bottom folds.

Purity reduced to an absolute minimum, the design is inspired by the iconographic “+” symbol of SEARCH+RESQ’s design brand-ID.

STEALTH

The STEALTH dining table is integrated with a “living-art” planter positioned in the center of the table with a soft continuous curved profile edge that creates an aura of subtle elegance to the design. STEALTH comfortably seats four (4) people.

BENCHMARX

The BENCHMARX may be used independently or as a companion to the STEALTH table with the relationship of “objects within similar objects”. The lightweight minimalistic form of the BENCHMARX is ergonomically-tuned at the perfect seating height and can easily be situated to nest underneath the STEALTH table to maximize space.
